Submission Statement on Conference Diversity
Diversity in the transportation community is critical as practitioners strive to develop equitable mobility improvements and understand the needs of all users in our region. Our goal at Transport Chicago is to ensure that the ideas and perspectives presented at the conference are inclusive of all backgrounds, demographics, and perspectives. To that end, we encourage proposals from anyone and everyone with a passion related to equity and inclusion as it relates to transportation and land use planning and engineering.
To help achieve these goals, we are proud to introduce the Transport Chicago Diversity and Inclusion scholarships as an exciting additional to this year’s conference.
